Webquest

Wow! I was very stressed out about this one. I felt that I was behind on this assignment, and it is worth the most. I gave birth to a little boy last tuesday by emergency c-section which hindered me from sitting at my computer for about a week. Now that I am feeling better, and back at my computer, I feel a tremendous weight lifted off of my shoulders to know that I am finished with this, and I hope it is satisfactory.
I know that someone said in one of the discussions that the hard part was figuring out what the topic would be, and that ended up to be true. Once I got my groove going on the google sites page to set up my webquest, it was a breeze. I think students would have a lot of fun with this one. Here it is!:

Fun with Data

I did not think that I was ever going to understand this assignment. After getting the formatting done, I was very afraid to mess it up by trying the formulas. I quickly learned that if something I did changed the information in the boxes, there is an undo button...which I used! I finally finished, however I am pretty sure that I took the long way through it. I will be emailing it on the 15th, and we'll go from there!

Google Docs Quiz

Again, this was easy, and worthwile to learn. What a fantastic way to have kids take a quiz and have it sent straight to your inbox. That way, you can keep everything in one place, and be able to pull it up from anywhere instead of carrying around a pile of papers.

Rubic

This was extremely easy, and very useful. A couple of my other professors for the classes that I am taking use this, and now I know how as well. Take a look at mine:

Windows Movie Maker

This was easy, and made my presentation so much more interesting to watch. I added an effect to all the slides, and a transititon in between. Along with those, I added some extra slides, including the title slide, and the credit slide. This is how everyone should present a slide show.

PDF presentation

This was a tricky one. I downloaded a free powerpoint to pdf converter to my desktop. Then, all I had to do was right click on the presentation that I also saved to my desktop, select the option to convert, and voila! After that, I simply moved it to FTP, and linked it to here.

Google Docs Presentaion

This is a nice alternative to using FTP. I was one of those faithful FTP users because I was comfortable with it, but this is just as easy, if not easier.
